This is an amazing silver brooch with classic needlepoint turquoise designs. Sixteen (16) pieces of needlepoint turquoise are set in a circle in serrated bezels. Each setting is separated with a silver dot; each setting is connected with a silver arch and another silver dot. In the center is a round (snake eye) piece of turquoise which is framed with arched silver pieces and silver rope.
The pin is about 1 1/2" in diameter.
The central round turquoise stone is 1/8" in diameter.
It weighs 9.6 g.
This brooch was sourced from a collection in Arizona, and dates to the 1960s when it was purchased.
