Vintage Petite Sterling Turquoise Screw Back Earrings Native American
Vintage Petite Sterling Turquoise Screw Back Earrings Native American
Hurry up, only 1 item left in stock.
Here's a cute little pair of sterling screw back earrings with two lovely oval turquoise cabochons in each. The color of the turquoise is a little different from one earring to the other...which is not unusual for older jewelry. Turquoise can change shades over time due to exposure to oils, lotions, hairspray, etc. We think it adds to the character of the pair.
A small leaf is appliqued on one side and silver dots complete the framing of the turquoise stones.
They are about 5/8" wide and 9/16" tall.
The turquoise stones are 3/16" by 1/4".
Together, the pair weighs 6.2 g.
Given their design and construction, it is very likely that these earrings were crafted by a Navajo silversmith; however, they are not signed.
