This is a stunning pair of sterling silver earrings with a scalloped round concho shape. A lighter weight silver was used for comfort, and they display repousse work across them. A small, round Kingman Mohave turquoise stone is set in the center in a smooth bezel.
The earrings are 1 1/8" in diameter.
The turquoise stone is 1/8" in diameter. The stone is a composite turquoise created exclusively at the Kingman Mine in northwestern Arizona. Bronze and turquoise are bound together into a conglomerate, with other materials used for different colors, such as purple or orange spiny oyster shell.
