VTG Sterling Bolo Tie Kingman Turquoise Cluster Native American Signed
VTG Sterling Bolo Tie Kingman Turquoise Cluster Native American Signed
Here's a fantastic vintage bolo tie with a classic oval design and an 11-turquoise cluster slide. The base is heavy gauge sterling silver that is stamped along its outer frame. The turquoise is set in serrated bezels and are separated from decorative silver dots.
The previous owner from whom this was sourced indicated that the turquoise cabochons were sourced from the Kingman Mine in northwestern Arizona.
The bolo slide is 1 3/4" wide and 2 1/2" tall.
The leathers are 4 mm thick. Including the silver tips, they are 39" long.
The silver tips are 2 1/8" long, each.
The turquoise cabochons are variable in size and shape. For comparison, the middle stone is 1/4" by 7/16".
It weighs 51 g.
There is a cursive "Sterling" as well as the silversmith's name on the back. Unfortunately, the last name is incomplete. We believe it to read "M. Nolua..."
