Sterling Teardrop Cluster Pendant Kingman Turquoise Cluster D. Begay Navajo
Sterling Teardrop Cluster Pendant Kingman Turquoise Cluster D. Begay Navajo
This is a beautiful sterling and turquoise cluster pendant in a teardrop shape. The artist used a heavier gauge silver as the base and set 10 well-matched turquoise cabochons in serrated bezels. The bale and outer frame is hand stamped, and the turquoise cluster is surrounded with silver rope. Silver dots of varying sizes were placed between the stones for accents.
The bale is larger size (1/2" opening), allowing you to hang this on your favorite beads, smaller Navajo pearls, or a larger handmade chain.
The pendant is 1 1/2" wide and 2 1/8" tall. From the top of the bale to the bottom of the pendant is about 2 3/4".
The turquoise stones are variable in size and shape, but are generally 1/4" in diameter, or 1/4" by 5/16". The matching cabochons were sourced from the Kingman Mine in northwestern Arizona.
It weighs 18.5 g.
The artist's hallmark is a script "Darlene Begay", and Navajo artisan.
