Sterling Sunface Kachina Bolo Tie Turquoise 3D Navajo Toby Henderson
Sterling Sunface Kachina Bolo Tie Turquoise 3D Navajo Toby Henderson
Here's a wonderful sunface kachina bolo tie with an incredible turquoise stone. The artist, Toby Henderson, is well known for his dimensional silver work. The details on the figure are fantastic, and he set the turquoise in a freeform smooth bezel.
The bolo slide is about 1 1/2" wide, 3 1/2" tall, and 3/8" deep.
The leathers are 4 mm thick. With the silver tips, they are about 35" long.
The silver tips are 2" long, each.
The turquoise stone is about 7/16" by 9/16".
It weighs 52 g.
The artist's hallmark is "TH" under a sunburst/sunrise, indicating celebrated Navajo silversmith Toby Henderson (who unfortunately passed away in 2019).
